On my school all 1. grader's (equals fresh mens) have the opportunity to participate in a high-school exchange with a high-school in Boston. 30 people applied for the high school exchange, but they only needed 23 - and I'm one of the ones they picked. I'm so happy! It's gonna be great!
In 8th grade in primary school I did the kind of the same with a school in The Netherlands. It was such a great experience. And as a bonus my English improved a lot in the 2x5 days we spend together with the Dutchmen. And I hope (and think) it will as well this time. But most of all - I'm looking forward to the experiences I hope to get.
The spring has finally found it's way to Denmark. The weather is sunny and even a little warm.
I don't know why, but the spring always give me the urge to change things. Well, not BIG things. Just small changes here and there. Sunday I took a look at my window still, and this is what I saw:
Not very pretty, huh? I'm very bad at keeping flowers alive. In the other side of this window still I have a lot of old frames so this side kind of wither next to the other. So I decided to make something crafty.
I searched around the house and found some small candle holders, old keys, crocks and a letter. And after some glueing and painting I ended up with this instead:
|I'm sorry for the awful sign in the background.|
Well, it's not that it's window still leaving you completely breathless, but it's better than before.
Lately Iøve been completely obessed with the color blue. It's so beautiful. So I had to add some blue to the window still :-)
But actually what I really wanted to share is this simlple craft idea:
Very easy: simply glue some pearls onto the top of a plain candle holder to give it a whole new expression.
I hope this can give a little inspiration. Happy spring!
